Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what personal information IPTVB collects, why, and the choices and rights you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Québec residents, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Who is responsible
IPTVB, 590 Prom. du Centropolis, Laval, QC H7T 3C2, is responsible for your personal information. Our person in charge of privacy can be reached at support@iptvb.ca.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to provide the service:
- When you contact us or request a trial (on WhatsApp or by email): your name, email address or WhatsApp number, your messages, your device and, if you tell us, your province.
- When you buy a plan: your order details (plan, devices, dates), payment confirmation and, for cryptocurrency, the wallet address used. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never receive or store your full card number.
- When you use the service: technical data needed to run it securely, such as the IP address, device type, app and connection times, used to deliver streams and enforce connection limits.
- When you visit our website: standard server logs and a cookie that remembers your language (English or French).
How we use it
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
- to send your trial or subscription login and setup help;
- to provide, secure and support the service, including connection limits;
- to process payments, refunds and our 30-day guarantee;
- to send service messages, such as the reminder before your plan ends;
- to prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
Your consent
By contacting us, requesting a trial or buying a plan, you consent to the uses described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@iptvb.ca; if the information is needed to provide the service, we may no longer be able to provide it.
WhatsApp and email
When you message us on WhatsApp, the messages are carried by WhatsApp (Meta) under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. Emails go through our email provider. We use these channels only to talk with you about your trial, your plan and your support requests.
Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies, such as the one that remembers your language. We don't use advertising cookies. We don't currently use analytics cookies; if we add them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where required.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need: payment processors, website hosting, email and WhatsApp messaging, and the technical providers that deliver the streams. They must protect it and use it only for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Where your information is stored
Some of our providers may store or process information outside Canada, for example in the United States. In that case, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessed by its authorities as permitted by those laws.
How long we keep it
- Trial requests that don't lead to a purchase: up to 12 months.
- Customer and order records: for the time you are a customer, then 6 years for accounting and tax purposes, as Canadian tax law requires.
- Technical connection data: 30 days.
- After these periods, we delete or anonymize the information.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information: access limited to the people who need it, secure (encrypted) connections and providers that meet security standards. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it (subject to our legal retention obligations) or to withdraw your consent. Québec residents can also ask for their information in a structured, commonly used format. Send your request to support@iptvb.ca; we reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in Québec, to the Commission d’accès à l’information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Marketing messages
Messages about your own trial or plan (logins, setup help, renewal reminders) are service messages. We send promotional messages only with your consent, as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requires, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP or by clicking the unsubscribe link.
Minors
Our service is not intended for people under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the new version is posted here with a new date. For any privacy question or request, write to support@iptvb.ca.
